Maggie & I have been busy baking (and eating) cookies today. We also went to the grocery store AGAIN. Third time this week. Seriously.
The meteorologists are saying that we will be having a white Christmas in our part of North Carolina this year! I decided to go to the store one more time for more fresh fruit and milk...the two things that we go through fast. Maggie and Ellie do not eat canned fruit, so I needed to stock up!
We are excited about Christmas and the arrival of a certain "big" guy tonight...Big Daddy! Big Daddy will also be home ALL of next week! His boss was nice enough to let him work from home the two days that he was supposed to be in the office.
So...
Merry Christmas!!
And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” ~Luke 2:9-12

Merry Christmas! We're hoping to make it to A'boro sometime but now it's looking more like Christmas evening instead of Sunday morning. If the snow would just wait until Sunday.....
So happy you'll hopefully have a white Christmas!!! And, so happy your hubby is home for such a long stretch! Best Christmas present ever, right?!
