I haven't joined in on "What I Learned This Week" lately, but I promise I've been learning! Here are a few things that I've learned lately. You can hop on over to Musings of a Housewife to share or read more.
-We may be through the "Dorothy dress" phase. It's been about a week and The Muffin hasn't insisted on wearing it all the time.
-The 30 Day Shred isn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be, but it's not easy. I have a hard time getting it done during nap time because there are about thirty things other things on my to-do list.
-Going to the grocery store alone is totally underrated. It is a sad way to spend alone time, but it is alone time and it's glorious.
-Baby Ellie thinks it's hilarious when I do sign language. Even though it makes her laugh, she knows what the sign for milk is and definitely lets us know if that's what she wants.
-B.reast milk storage bags are perfect for freezing individual portions of homemade baby food.
-The Muffin never tires of singing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Never.
-I love apothecary jars.
-Although I often wish I could freeze Baby Ellie and keep her just the way that she is right now, I'm ready for her teething pain to end.
-The Muffin loves Cousin Callie's new N.intendo Wii. And so does Big Daddy.
-Ellie wants to crawl SO bad. She's about thisclose to actually doing it!
-I'm simply not ready for Baby Ellie to crawl.

no more Dorothy dress?! I wonder what will be next?! We have a Wii...got it last year. Love it! the Wii Fit is what I like.
The Shred is very doable - afterall, I made it completely through. I just started another Jillan DVD.
It is rare that I ever take A to the grocery store with me and when I do you can tell it. I'm not used to him reaching for everything and you know he does with the cart parked in one lane instead of the middle of the aisle.
Freezing our children in time...I guess you could tell from my post today that I would be so in on this.
Gooner is NOT interested in crawling at all!!! You've learned a lot!!!
I had to laugh about the grocery store. I hear ya. I consider it quite a luxury to go grocery shopping alone, sad as that may be.
I really REALLY need to get back to doing the Shred. I went to the gym yesterday and walked/ran on the treadmill, but I can only do that 2 times a week and I need something else to do at home the other days. But I just DREAD getting back to the Shred. I remember how intense it was. GAH.
