Thankful

I took two girls to get groceries today. One fell asleep riding in the sling with her head on my chest, while the other one ate a watermelon Blow.Pop. I am thankful for these two sweet girls and Lord knows that I'm thankful for my sling.

I'm thankful for our big sink, so that the big sister can take a bath just like the little sister.

I just felt tooth number two in someone's mouth. Looks like that sweet, little grin will not be toothless for much longer. I am thankful for her smile even though her mouth hurts.

Both girls slept better last night, but we were all up early. Someone woke up starving every three hours. I would be so thankful for a good night's sleep, but I'm thankful that God made me a mother and gave me the superpower to go and go and go on very little sleep.

I am thankful for Big Daddy. Even though he's not always the husband or father that I'd like for him to be he's the one. I'm thankful that he works hard everyday so that I can stay at home with our girls. Tonight he's taking us out to dinner and I'm thankful that I will not have to cook.

I have talked to my two special mommy-friends (A & K), one today and one yesterday and I'll talk to both of them tomorrow. I'm thankful to have them to laugh and cry with even if it's over the phone. The Muffin and I miss these crazy mommies and their little boys so much.

I am thankful for our newest friend, almost three week old baby girl T. The Muffin and Ellie are very thankful that she arrived so that the girls will outnumber the boys for a change! Even though I've only been able to see her once on the day she was born, I am so thankful for her. She is truly an answered prayer. She will be having some testing tomorrow and we are hoping and praying for the best results possible. It's so hard for me and K not to be with A right now. I am thankful that we have phones and the internet to keep in touch with each other and to check on "our" sweet baby.

I am thankful to have a nice house that's close to my family. I'm so thankful to not be living an apartment as we get ready to celebrate the holidays.

And really, the list could go on, but I most fold these two loads of laundry in front of me. I'm thankful for my washer and dryer too.
