Rainy Days and Mondays

I was surprised to hear the rain this morning, but it made taking The Muffin to preschool and getting groceries with Baby Ellie a little more exciting. Baby Ellie is napping and I've just finished stuffing a load of diapers, I'm drying a load of clothes and washing another load of clothes. I guess the rest of my day will consist of folding and putting away laundry.

After a rough few days with wardrobe issues (The Muffin's, not mine) I was thankful that things went smoothly with getting ready for preschool. I'm pretty sure our issues with clothing for church yesterday was a product of the devil. Luckily, we weren't going to our "new" church and we were going to my parents' church for Homecoming. I really needed the extra time to get The Muffin into a dress that was appropriate for Fall. I also took a few extra minutes to tale all of her summer dresses upstairs and into a storage container in the bonus room closet. They are officially out of sight.

We had a great time at the Land of Oz on Saturday. We spent a couple of hours waiting in line to ride the bus up the mountain. Then a little more time in line to go through Dorothy's house, down into the cellar and out into the Land of Oz. Seeing The Muffin's excitement was worth the wait! Cousin Callie had a good time too. Yesterday was another fun day with Callie's birthday celebration. Today Cousin Callie is officially 8 years old!
