I'm joining the "What I Learned This Week" Carnival with Jo-Lynne at Musings of A Housewife again this week. Here's just a few things that I have learned.
Love makes all the difference.
Having Big Daddy home too much can be a bad thing.
We may just have picnics for lunch everyday this Spring and Summer...if the Baby-to-be allows it.
Flip flops= happy feet.
Going to the monthly midwife appointment is less stressful when The Muffin is at Nana and Pawpaw's.
The possibilities really are endless.
Peeking in on The Muffin during her Sunday school class is very enlightening.
Sending Big Daddy long, dramatic emails expressing my needs, wants and feelings may be better than telling him face to face...probably because I cry and he gets annoyed.
Having your toddler refer to you as "Tin Man", "Auntie Em", or "Glinda" is just as sweet as when she says that you are her best friend.
You never know how you'll feel or what you'll really do until it happens to you.
The thought of The Muffin and the Baby-to-be makes me want to cry happy tears and run and hide at the same time.

Aww you really did learn a lot this week. Our lives sure do take a lot of different roads with twists and turns and a ton of speed bumps huh? I'm praying for you guys for just the right thing to happen!! : > )
Wonderful things! Just wonderful. Picnics sound wonderful.
Blessings.

Someone has been watching The Wizard Of Oz...such a great movie! And never a bad thing for your daughter to refer to you as her best friend. Savor it! My teenager wouldn't dream of calling me that anymore - I'm not nearly cool enough.
What a sweet post and great lessons too. I'm with you on the flip flops. Can't wait to let the toesies out.
What a lovely list of things to learn in a week! Congrats on the baby-to-be!
Oh I am so jealous... my toes want to be waering flip flop too!
it's all good stuff.
Especially the email one..I've done this and it works well.
Thanks for sharing what you learned--all of these things are enlightening (I may have to try the email-to-husband trick). I agree that love does make all the difference, too!

YES! We have found that sometimes, communicating via email can be a GOOD thing. :-)
