Santa booties, courtesy of Gammy Gladys, circa 2006. Baby Ellie, today you are six months old! It's your half birthday. Today you will celebrate by going to the new church that Daddy and Sissy found for us and then going to your (sure to be) new friend, L's second birthday party.

Baby Ellie, you continue to delight us everyday. You have a sweet smile, an adorable laugh and such a loud squeal! You like to be close to your mommy and you still like to be worn in the sling. You have two pretty, white teeth and they are finally through far enough that we can see them when you smile. You like to watch everything that your big sister does, you'll even stop eating to watch her. You like to reach for the remote control and you love your Ken Barbie (circa the early 80's). I think you think that he looks like Daddy! You get excited to see either one of them!

You enjoy eating solid foods. You like everything, so farm but applesauce is your least favorite. You are still eating twice during the night and your mommy would love a solid eight hours of sleep, but she sort of enjoys being up with you when the house is quiet.
You are growing so fast! You are in 9 and 12 month clothes now. I spent yesterday putting up your size 6 month clothing and going through Sissy's old clothes so that your pants will not look like capris. I love to see you in the same little outfits that your sister wore. I think that may be my favorite part of having two girls. I am also looking forward to seeing you in all of her old summer dresses. You give us lots to look forward to! You love to stand and hold on to our hands, so we wonder if you'll be pulling up on your own soon.
It's hard for us to believe that you have been in our lives for six full months.

happy 1/2 birthday little Ellie! can't believe it's been 6 months already. :) we need to invent something that keeps our babies babies for as long as we want!!
You are definitely blessed with two beautiful little girls! It's so hard to believe that Ellie is already 6 months old. Happy 1/2 birthday baby E!!
Oh my, where has time gone?! I love how joyous Ellie is!!! She just seems to be so full of life and laughter!
